The FLYCYLE

The Lephts magnificent flying machine.

The Lephts (not to be confused with the Wrights) are recruiting new students to the Flying, Navigation and Imagination School for Exceptional Students and are also searching for a perfect hill or runway to test the flight of their new flying machine.

Aspiring students to the school must pass a series of absurd entry tests: resistance to feather tickling, measuring between two landmarks, starling flight pattern reading, aerial map drawing from memory, lung capacity testing ( in-case blowing on flying machine wings is required), suspicious cloud identification, windy day meter reading, direction giving at high speed, going in all directions simultaneously.

Successful students will procede to conduct pre-flight maintenance, help clear the runway, countdown to lift off and other important tasks for the Lephts’ maiden flight.

Highlight performances include: Woodford Folk Festival, WOMADelaide, Floraide, The Melbourne International Flower Show, Mullum Music Festival.
